Our Products
We currently have one-piece and two-piece reusable feminine hygiene pads available for purchase. These pads are bought from a South Asian company called Didi Pad. The pads are made by women in the villages of South Asia. Through this work they earn an income to support themselves and their families.
When you make a purchase of these pads you’re helping to provide pads to those in South Asia who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford safe, clean sanitary pads. Through this we are also able to help to provide basic health education to girls, women, and their families.
The one-piece pad is the classic style sanitary pad. It’s a similar style to the disposable pads, however it is reusable and made from 100% cotton. The pad contains an absorbable layer, waterproof layer, and liner. This pad is comfortable, safe, and environmentally friendly.
One-Piece Didi Pad
The two-piece pad is also made from 100% cotton with a waterproof layer inside for added protection. It comes in two pieces, the outside piece is a holder then the second piece is a reusable fabric insert that folds up to fit inside the holder (each pad comes with two inserts). The insert is easily removable for changing and washing. You can wear this pad knowing that it’s a safe, healthy choice, and that you are also making a way for low-income women to have access to these pads.
